Idiocracy (2006) in streaming su altadefinizione Joe Bauers, tipico americano medio, viene selezionato dal Pentagono come cavia per un progetto di ibernazione insieme a Rita, una prostituta che lui crede pittrice. L'esperimento "top secret" dovrebbe durare un anno, ma il responsabile è arrestato e i due malcapitati cadono nel dimenticatoio. Risvegliatisi nel 2505, si rendono conto di essere le due persone più intelligenti degli Stati Uniti..
Classico caso di ottimo spunto e scarsi risultati: l'idea grottesca (mica poi tanto!) di un mondo futuro dominato dall'idiozia ha uno sviluppo fin troppo prevedibile, con gag di bassa lega e personaggi caricaturali appena abbozzati. Pessimo il doppiaggio.
