1 km da Wall Street (2000) in streaming su altadefinizione Il giovane Seth ha un talento naturale per i soldi e gestisce una bisca clandestina con i compagni di college. Decide di fare il grande salto e si fa assumere da una società di brookeraggio pesantemente truffaldina. Rivendono azioni inesistenti sfruttando la buona fede dei piccoli risparmiatori. Alla fine Seth scopre tutto, ma l'Fbi lo teneva d'occhio già da un po'.
L'atto d'accusa che Ben Younger ci propone con questo film è preciso e radicale, un po' meno la sua sceneggiatura, che nella seconda parte diventa prevedibile e retorica. La storiella del padre-giudice di Seth, con i buoni sentimenti da famigliola americana, toglie mordente a una vicenda che meritava più cattiveria.
