Quando ottiene finalmente un colloquio per un lavoro nel quale aveva da tempo riposto le proprie speranze, scoppia uno sciopero nazionale che paralizza il sistema dei trasporti pubblici. Il precario equilibrio che la donna ha costruito è messo a repentaglio. Julie ingaggia quindi una corsa frenetica contro il tempo, rischiando di vacillare.
