Gangster Squad [HD] (2013) in streaming su altadefinizione Los Angeles, 1949. Il boss newyorkese Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn) ha nelle sue mani il controllo dell'intera città, gestendo i guadagni illeciti che derivano dalla vendita di droga, dalla prostituzione e dal traffico d'armi. Ha costruito un vero e proprio impero del crimine grazie all'aiuto di scagnozzi senza alcuna remora e contando anche sulla protezione garantita da esponenti politici e sulla connivenza con le forze di polizia, corrotte fino al midollo. Due poliziotti, John O'Mara (Josh Brolin) e Jerry Wooters (Ryan Gosling), trovano però il modo di ribellarsi a Cohen, mettendo in piedi una piccola squadra per arrestare lo strapotere criminale e riportare la città sulle vie della legalità.
